Association for Water, Applied Education & Renewable Energy (AWARE) is a non-profit organization working primarily in the arid and semi-arid regions of Sindh, Pakistan, with a special focus on Districts Tharparkar and Umerkot. Established in 2003 and formally registered under the Societies Act 1860 (No. 4142) on February 12, 2005, AWARE has emerged as a key player in community-driven development, renewable energy initiatives, water management, education, and disaster resilience.
Our vision is to contribute to a society where people can determine their life choices and influence meaningful social change. Our mission is to organize, empower, and uplift marginalized populations, enabling them to influence social, political, and economic policies to establish a society based on social justice, equity, and human dignity.
