Ms. Naheed Atta is a committed development professional with an M.Phil degree and extensive experience working with various national and local NGOs in multiple programmatic and leadership roles. Coming from a rural background herself, she brings a deep understanding of the challenges faced by marginalized communities—particularly women and girls in underserved areas of Sindh.

Her volunteerism and advocacy have consistently focused on gender equity, social inclusion, and community empowerment. As a Member of AWARE’s Board of Directors, she plays an influential role in guiding the organization’s strategic direction with a strong gender lens. Her insights have been critical in shaping inclusive programming that addresses the needs of women, children, and vulnerable groups across sectors such as education, health, and governance.
