Ali Mohammad Shaikh is a seasoned social development expert with over 25 years of experience working with prominent national and regional NGOs, including Trust for Voluntary Organizations (TVO), Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO), Rural Development Foundation (RDF), and Sindh Improvement Front (SIF). He holds an M.Phil degree from the University of Sindh, with a strong academic and practical foundation in community development, organizational strengthening, and rights-based programming.
Currently serving as the Deputy Secretary General of AWARE on a voluntary basis, Mr. Shaikh plays an integral role in strategic planning, program design, and institutional development. His wealth of experience and deep understanding of grassroots challenges make him a valuable mentor to the AWARE team. Driven by a strong commitment to social justice and equity, he actively contributes his time, skills, and leadership to advancing AWARE’s mission of empowering marginalized communities across Sindh.
